We collect the following minimal data to operate the service:

We do not request or require patient identifiers and users are advised not to enter patient names, UHIDs or other sensitive identifiers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• No patient images
• No PACS access
• No radiology data mapping
• No EMR / hospital system access
• No biometric identity data

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to:

• Transcribe speech to text
• Improve accuracy & user experience
• Secure our systems
• Provide customer support

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

4. Storage & Security

• Cloud storage: Google Firebase (India + global regions)
• Encryption: Data encrypted in transit & at rest
• Access control: Audit logs maintained

5. Data Retention

• Logs retained for minimum periods required by CERT-In
• Transcriptions stored until manually deleted by the user
• You may request deletion at any time from settings or support

6. Data Sharing

We may share data only with:

• Google Firebase services (infrastructure provider)
• Regulatory authorities if legally required

No third-party advertising networks.

7. Your Rights Under DPDP 2023

Users have the right to:

• Request access to their data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent
• Raise grievances with our Grievance Officer

9. Children's Data

Service is for professional medical use only. Not intended for individuals under 18 years.

10. Changes to Policy

Policy may be updated; continued use constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

By accessing or using TextRad, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Permitted Use

• Use the tool responsibly and in compliance with medical laws & ethical standards
• Maintain confidentiality of any medical information you dictate
• Use the service only for lawful professional purposes
• Not share your account credentials with unauthorized users

3. Medical Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• TextRad does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
• The accuracy of AI transcription may vary; final report review is your responsibility
• All clinical decisions must be made by a qualified physician
• TextRad is a documentation tool, not a diagnostic or clinical decision-support system

4. Limitation of Liability

You agree that:

• You will not hold TextRad liable for clinical or reporting errors arising from misuse or misinterpretation
• TextRad provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the service
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription

5. Data Responsibility

Users agree to:

• Not include patient identifiable information (PII) in transcriptions
• Comply with HIPAA, DPDP, and other applicable data protection regulations
• Ensure proper consent and authorization before dictating any patient information
• Regularly review and delete stored reports as needed

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Share or resell access to the service

7. Subscription & Payments

• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy
• Prices may change with notice to existing subscribers
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TextRad at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
