CT ABDOMEN AND PELVIS
CLINICAL HISTORY:
65-year-old male with abdominal pain.
TECHNIQUE:
CT of the abdomen and pelvis performed without oral or IV contrast.
FINDINGS:
LOWER CHEST:
The lung bases are clear.
ABDOMEN:
LIVER: Normal size and contour. No focal lesions.
SPLEEN: Unremarkable.
PANCREAS: Normal.
KIDNEYS: No hydronephrosis or calculi.
ADRENALS: Normal.
PELVIS:
URINARY BLADDER: Distended, wall thickening noted.
PROSTATE: Enlarged.
BONES:
No aggressive osseous lesions. Degenerative changes in the lumbar spine.
IMPRESSION:
1. No acute intra-abdominal pathology.
2. Prostatomegaly.
3. Bladder wall thickening, correlate for cystitis.
